Jeff Ostrowski holds his B.M. in Music Theory from the University of Kansas (2004), where he also did graduate work in Musicology. A theorist, pianist, organist, music editor, conductor, and singer, he is currently pursuing a Master's in Education, as well as working for Corpus Christi Watershed, directing the Corpus Christi Cathedral Schola Cantorum, directing the Cristóbal de Morales Consortium, and teaching at John Paul II High School. An early music scholar who has produced internationally distributed CD's, Jeff's special areas of expertise are the historical performance of plainsong (over the last 150 years) and the polyphony of the High Renaissance (1550-1600). Recently married, he lives with his wife Cynthia in Corpus Christi, TX. |
